On 27th February 2026, Tecno International contributed to the event “Territorio ed ESG: la tempesta perfetta”, hosted at Deloitte’s NextHub in Bari and organised in collaboration with Manageritalia Puglia Calabria Basilicata. The initiative brought together representatives from institutions, academia and business, creating a space for dialogue on how sustainability, responsibility and competitiveness are shaping the future of territories.
Our participation reflects Tecno International’s ongoing commitment to supporting organisations in translating sustainability from a regulatory requirement into a strategic lever for growth.
The roundtable featured contributions from a diverse group of speakers, fostering a dynamic exchange on the evolving role of ESG. During the roundtable, Allegra Fortunato, Head of Strategy and UK Director of Tecno International, shared an international perspective grounded in our work across markets and sectors. Drawing on our consulting experience, we highlighted the importance of integrating sustainability into core business models rather than treating it as a standalone function.
The dialogue covered several key themes aligned with the challenges our clients are facing today. A case study on OVS Innovazione & Sostenibilità explored how circular economy principles and technological innovation can be applied within industrial processes. The conversation then expanded to address the role of SMEs within value chains, the impact of regulatory frameworks such as CSRD and ESRS, and the ways in which sustainability can translate into tangible competitive advantage. We reinforced that organisations taking a structured approach to sustainability are better positioned to adapt and compete over time.
Beyond the discussion itself, the event created a valuable space to connect with stakeholders across business, academia and institutions. These moments are key to fostering collaboration and aligning on practical solutions that can support both companies and local ecosystems in their transition.
This experience once again highlighted the importance of creating spaces for dialogue between business, academia and institutions, moments where shared insights can turn sustainability into a concrete lever for innovation, growth and long-term territorial development.
