Earlier this month, Tecno International took part in an exclusive event in Perugia dedicated to exploring the future of sustainability and innovation. Hosted at the Hangar MaMo, the atelier of artist and entrepreneur Massimiliano Donnari (MAMO), the evening transformed a space of creativity into a stage for dialogue between academia, business, and the entrepreneurial community.

The event was moderated by Allegra Fortunato, Head of Strategy and UK Director of Tecno International, who opened the conversation by underlining how sustainability and innovation are no longer “buzzwords” but essential drivers of transformation in business and society.

Two keynote guests shared their perspectives:

  • Professor Paolo Taticchi, Professor in Strategy and Sustainability at UCL School of Management and Board Advisor to Tecno Group, presented insights from his new book Sostenibilità e Innovazione: La Rivoluzione del Business. He reflected on how sustainability challenges can be turned into opportunities, the decisive role of technology and digitalisation in accelerating sustainable transformation, and the importance of enlightened leadership capable of combining growth with responsibility.

  • Giovanni Lombardi, Founder and President of Tecno Group, spoke about the Group’s entrepreneurial journey — from its founding in 1999 to its upcoming IPO — and shared his vision on how innovation, territorial roots, and sustainability can coexist to create long-term value. He also addressed the role of SustainTech in shaping the next phase of sustainable business and Tecno’s commitment to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (PMIs).

The evening closed with a networking aperitivo, giving guests the opportunity to continue the exchange of ideas in a more informal setting.

This event once again reaffirmed Tecno International’s commitment to building bridges between business and academia, creating moments of dialogue that inspire new approaches to sustainable and innovative growth.
